Today we are going to confession, then we are going to go to the church service. It's a Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts. It means that the communion was already sanctified on Sunday. My mom is in the kitchen right now, making a curry for church. It smells very strong. Whenever my mom makes a curry of some sort, the smell always lasts for days!

Today we went to the orthodontist to get spacers in mine and my brothers teeth for braces. When I was 8, I had to get spacers for phase 1 (pallet expander, lip bumper, ect.) and the lady who put the spacers in just stretched on a metal tool, and jammed them between my teeth. But then she showed me a way to floss them in at home, which hurts a lot less. So I told the lady who "spaced me" for phase 2, that I preferred that way. Afterwards, we met my dad and went out for an early dinner.

Monday, March 29, 2004

Right now, we are in the dark. We are admiring all of the lights on the dishwasher and the Keurig, the coffee maker. The dishwasher's lights are red, and the Keurig's lights are blue. It's really cool.

Sunday, March 28, 2004

Today, we went to church. And now we are home. Last night, I made my little brother promise to play Lego with me by doing him a favor. He is getting more into Playmobile instead of Lego. I have the most fun with Stephen, who likes Playmobile, so I am looking forward to playing.

Today I woke up with a little bit of a cold. But I still went for a walk in our woods with my mom and brothers, and my dad went for a hike from Pillsbury to Sunapee with my dog, Ouzo. There's a little pond near us named Otter Pond, here known as Poopie Pond because of its odor. So we hiked through the woods to the pond and when we got to the shore, almost all of the ice was gone! There was just a little bit of ice near land. I took Sam's pole and poked the ice, going out further and further... until it collapsed! Kidding- I just poked it until my bravery ran out. But then, as I got closer to shore, my foot fell through a slushy part of the ice, but it wasn't to bad.

Friday, March 26, 2004

Today was another school day. Actually, I just finished all of my work. When we went out-side for recess, we went to our little river-bed in our back yard, and because it's spring, there is a lot of water in it. We always like to imagine that we (my brothers and I) are laundry slaves that work for a cruel king. So we like to get back at the king by putting his dry-clean-only-clothes (dry leaves) in the water, and set them on fire. It's a lot of fun. Also, I have tap tonight, then I am going to a school dance.

Thursday, March 25, 2004

Today we went to the church service celebrating the Annunciation. My dad didn't go because he was sick. It feels like a Sunday because there was church in the morning. But I'll have to get used to that. Holy Week is coming soon, which means church at morning and at night.

Wednesday, March 24, 2004

Today was a school day. I finished all my school before lunch. After lunch, my dad, my brother Stephen, and I took a walk from our house to the Jake's in town. Now, there is a part where you walk by a boat launch, and my dad said that maybe we could try to take a short-cut across the lake. Being March, you can never trust the frozen lakes, because their trying to make up their minds to melt, or to freeze again. So as we were walking across the lake, we started hearing these weird booming and cracking sounds of the ice cracking. My dad said it was okay, and that it was just normal ice sounds, but the noise was very disturbing.

Tuesday, March 23, 2004

Today, at our house, we had a Wolf Cub meeting for my brother Stephen. I actually joined them to carve bars of soap - they were practicing whittling to get their "whittling chip cards". It was fun, but it made a big mess. And whenever you tried to whittle something, the soap would break. My mom tried to carve a pig, but its head and 3 legs fell off, so she just made a radio instead.

Monday, March 22, 2004

Today is my daddy's birthday!! But we still have school today. Humph! My mom said that we have no school on birthdays. But then she said it only counts for kid birthdays, not crochedy old man birthdays. I wanted to sleep in! I also have jazz and ballet later today.

Sunday, March 21, 2004

Today we went to church. After church, we washed the car, vacuumed it, then realized I had stepped in dog poop. So, when we got home, I stamped my foot until it tingled, then I remembered that we had a small puddle of melted ice, so I swished my sneaker in it. We are home, my brothers and I were playing with G.I. Joe doll - or must I say "action figures".

Saturday, March 20, 2004

Today was (as you know) a glorious Saturday. I planned on sleeping in until lunch, but my stomach wouldn't let me. So I just got up at about 8:30. After breakfast, my dad, my brothers and I walked from my house, to the Jake's in town. It was a 4 to 5 mile walk, but it was very flat. My mom came with the van, then we got lunch and went home.

Friday, March 19, 2004

We have to leave in about 40 minutes - my bros have a play date, my mom is going to drop me off at a friend's house who will take me to tap class, and my mom will run errands. Then after tap, we will go to a church service - and won't get home till about 9:45, so the last hours of the day will be very busy.

My brother (7 yrs old) is writing a story called The Adventures of the Sewer Gang. I'll just say that if it were a movie, it would be rated PG-13 for potty language.

Thursday, March 18, 2004

Today was a day where we didn't go anywhere - my mom likes these types of days because we can get a lot of school and housework done. But my mom cheated! She had to the town hall to get the registrations on the new vehicles. She said we didn't have to go anywhere!
So sorry I didn't write anything last night. I was busy, then we had to go to church, and we didn't get home until 9:30. So I was pretty tired. So yesterday, I did some schoolwork, and lingered around a bit until we had to go to hair-cuts. I got my hair all short with a "lair of lairs" that fall about an inch below my bangs - I made sure my hair-dresser didn't cut the the lairs that short. Then (of course) we went to church.

Tuesday, March 16, 2004

I just came home from my friends' house - read previous entry to learn more about them. We mostly colored on pictures of Justin Timberlake. There is this one boy at the Wolf Cub meeting who apparently has a few problems. He has started doing after-school activities, and he doesn't want to do scouts anymore because he has more fun at the activities, and so he has to miss them to go to scouts because his mom makes him go. Now, I saw that boy in the school hall, practically slappin' his mother in a fit, and she's just saying "It's ok, there's going to be tomorrow - blah blah blah." And whenever someone walked by, she just did a fake smile while her hair was being ripped out. He ended up going, though. Slouching and whining the whole time - with his mom's fake smile.
Today I hope to meet my friends at the elementary school. My little brother Sam has a Wolf Cub meeting there, and one of the friends (Molly) is in the elementary school, and Megan and Michaela go to the middle school. They are all sisters, all my friends, and all M's. Megan I am closest to because I met her in 2nd grade, she is 11 (like me) and was moved up to 7th grade. I call her my little genius.
Yesterday we had school. And for recess, my brothers and I went for a short jog (and of course we picked up my dog's poop). After that, I went to my jazz and ballet class. My ballet teacher wants me to sleek back my bangs for the June recital! I think I look awful with a capital Q - uh, A without them! I may sound a bit vain (ok-a lot a bit vain) but this is an amateur ballet performance! But she keeps on saying that she has a 4-and-a-half-inch forehead - I have less than 2 in.! Plus I think it makes my head look to big.

Sunday, March 14, 2004

We just got back from church a few minutes ago. We also vacuumed and washed the new van for the first time. T'was very exciting. I learned what the word "urban" means today. There is this guy at our church who has turned into this "Homey G" person. He is only 17 or 18 and is "all dat, yo", and has started smoking. It is rather gross. Another person was talking to him, and said "Don't you know that smoking is bad for you?" Urban (urban means having to do with the city) Homey G said "Yo, yo, yo my brodah, everydin bad fo ya. I mean look at school, man! Dat bad! Way badder den havin' a ciggie!" It was sooooo gross!

Saturday, March 13, 2004

Right now I am [or was] playing Lego with my brothers. Some of the characters are: a baby named Mandy, a 10 yr old girl named Audrey, her dad, and her uncle. It was Halloween, so Audrey dressed up as Paikea from Whale Rider, Mandy was Hercules, and the uncle was the whale that "Paikea" was riding on. So Audrey was riding on the whale, holding a fishing rod that was tied to Mandy so she could fly. The dad was just trailing behind muttering "We are a weird family".

Friday, March 12, 2004

Today my parents had a meeting with 2 people who have a radio show. They were talking about advertising. We went to a restaurant that has mediocre food for the meeting. I just got a muffin, which was actually edible. We probably went there because it was so cheap, I wonder why. At 3:00, my brothers have a play date at a friends' house - only if they finish their school work - DUN DUN DUN!! Then I have tap at 4:30, then church at 6:00.

Thursday, March 11, 2004

Today we are going to Concord AGAIN to get the cargo van [ for my dads bidness] . I am so sick of dat place now. I think can even live without going to the mall! But we are going to Wall mart and Borders after we pick up the van.

Wednesday, March 10, 2004

We got our passenger van today! It is SOOO much roomier than our Expedition. We had the Eddie Bauer edition [ leather seats]. The Expedition was way more comfy than the van's cloth seats, but we will have a lot more room to go down to Georgia!

Tuesday, March 09, 2004

Today, we had a Cub Scout meeting [ it was Bear for my younger bro Stephen] . It was at our house because my mom is the den leader. There was supposed to be 2 boys there, but I guess 1 of the moms forgot. If I was in Girl Scouts, I would be preeetty upset at my mom if she had forgotten.

Monday, March 08, 2004

Today we went to Concord again for the abajillionth time in the history of forever! We needed to go to the Chevrolet dealers because we need a new service van, and a new family vehicle. We are getting a passenger van for the family, and a cargo van for the service van. We are picking up the passenger on Wednesday.

Sunday, March 07, 2004

We went to church today. Afterwards, my friend Olivia and I went on the swing outside. It was all muddy beneath the swing, and we had fun trying not to fall in to it.

Nothing really interesting happened today. My mom went to the dentist [ no cavities] and I had tap. Oh! I FINALLY finished Heidi for my school reading. I recommend that book to all "Bookworms".

Thursday, March 04, 2004

Today we are going to Concord to go to Sears and Best Buy. I would prefer to look at clothes than look at appliance parts and computers. And after that, my family [except for Daddy - boo hoo] are going to my friend's house for a homeschooling get-together.

Wednesday, March 03, 2004

Today we went skiing on Mt. Sunapee all day. It was fun, but tiring. Also, we had another church service tonight, and just got home. I'm going to bed now.

Tuesday, March 02, 2004

I just came back from my friends' house. They have a couple of posters of Justin Timberlake and J.Lo [ yucky]. So we "took off their air-brushing" and used markers to yellow their teeth, increase their acne, and put make-up on Justin. It was so funny!

Monday, March 01, 2004

I just came home from the 2 most tiring dance classes in the history of forever! It's probably a good thing - to work off all that mayonnaise the lady put on my Subway sandwich. I like the dances we practicing for the June recital. So now I am home, waiting for my beautiful mama to fix dinner.
