I slept over at my Grama's house last night; it was a lot of fun. For dinner she made patty melts! I had never had one before, so it was yummy. And we had apple turn-overs and ice cream for dessert. We watched the Sixth Sense on TV. I had never seen this movie before - it was interesting. I would never ever want to have that "sixth sense"; I would rather not see freaky dead people. But I thought the creepiest part was when the mom was poisoning her kid - that's just not right. I don't think I've ever eaten so much junk food in a 24-hour period of time in my life. 'Cause, you know, eating 5 days worth of food in 30 minutes to an hour at Thanksgiving isn't really the same thing.

We got a tiny teensy puny little bit of snow this morning. But it's all gone now because of the rain. Stupid rain. But it was exciting to see a little puny tiny bit of snow for five minutes.

I got my braces off today!!!!!! I'm so happy - my teeth are beautiful. They feel big and slimey. But it's fun to chew gum and to be able to eat without getting food caught all in them. Also, as a surprise, my mom bought the next Series of Unfortunate Events book!!! It's my favorite series of all times! I didn't hear anything about it coming out, so I was very excited.

Will it ever stop raining here??? Gosh, we are all going to be albinos because we haven't been outside in so long. Our dog doesn't want to go outside to pee, so his bladder might explode.

Our addition is taking forever. Almost everyone (the insulators, the painter, the other dudes) are all delayed until forever. It has been going on for four months now, my mom is starting to stress about it. Hopefully it'll be done in the next month, or else I'll have to get up and do it myself!

My mom and my Grama and I just had a scientific breakthrough!!!! We can tap on the plywood floor in the addition! So now I can practice my wings and Hines riffs! They are both totally pathetic, but I'll keep on practicing until they put the official floor down. But I think my mom and I (and Grama) are pretty darn smart!

There was a ton of rain over the weekend. Tons and tons and tons of rain! Lots of it! Our neighbor's basement was flooded, the pond near our house flooded into another neighbor's yard, and a lake spilled out into the road. When we drove to church, there was a lot of flooding. Then we saw a FIRE!!!!!!!!! We drove by this house engulfed in flames and people running around screaming with their heads on fire!!! Not really. The house was burning down, but it was a controlled burn, in other words, the firemen were just sitting around, and people were pulling out their lawn chairs and taking pictures. But it was really cool, floods and fire in one day!

Hey, guys my dad's website is losing traffic, so could you do me a huge favor and go there so we don't have to hear him moan perpetually about how little people are on his site? Thanks.

I had three dance classes last night. One of them was pointe. And it being my first pointe class, my feet hurt. My toes were going numb part way through the class, then my ankles started to cramp up after I took the shoes off. Tonight we watched the last of "So you Think You Can Dance", I'm so sad it's over. But there's always next season! Bwa ha ha ha ha!

On Saturday, I got my pointe shoes!!! They were so beautiful and shiny until my teacher demonstrated how to break them in. She stomped on the top of the shoe and taught me how to bend them. They are a little dirty now. Also I have been wearing them around the house, and with 2 cats, 1 German Shepherd and an un-vacuumed floor, you can imagine what they look like now. Gross. Oh, well. I don't think my legs work right now after 2 and a half hours of dance. My legs were killing me half way through the second class and refused to work for a while. At least I can walk, sort of.
